2 DAY RAIL JOURNEY - BRISBANE TO CAIRNS AND CAIRNS TO BRISBANE
Discover the east coast of Queensland on board Australia’s most innovative train, the Tilt Train. Offering a quick, comfortable and convenient way to access Australia’s north-eastern coast.
Business Class – on the Brisbane to Cairns and Cairns to Brisbane route, Business class is offered throughout. Featuring large reclining seats and personal entertainment system with lap top connection, the train offers a choice of in-seat dining or a club car offering light meals and refreshments (meals and drinks are not included in the prices shown). Each carriage has its own set of toilets and showers.
Day 1 – Brisbane: depart Brisbane on a Monday,Wednesday or Friday evening in Business class, the Tilt Train travels northbound along Queensland’s stunning coastline. Following the same route as the Sunlander, sit back and admire the spectacular sights in style.
Day 2 – Cairns: your journey continues, passing through some of Queensland’s tourist attractions, including Proserpine - sweetheart of the Whitsunday’s and Townsville. You arrive refreshed into Cairns early evening.
Please note: this journey can be done in reverse departing Cairns on a Sunday, Wednesday or Friday and arriving into Brisbane on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday respectively.
The Tilt Train also offers a service between Brisbane and Rockhampton enabling you to do part journeys with the option to hop on and off along the southeast coast.
